Many users have asked for the ability to run there old POWERSTATION version 4 on newer computers. While the old software as a rule will not run (Speed and Windows differences), we have created a version of PSDESIGN.EXE (The main drawing and machining module) that has been customized to deal with these differences.
Notes on the Legacy DOS Version
It is only available with an upgrade to a current version of POWERSTATION WINDOWS, it is NOT available on it's own.
The Windows version MUST be used to print/edit/verify/communicate.
It contains the main drawing/machining module only (What you used in the past when you selected option #0), it does not contain any other parts of the old DOS version.
It only runs in full screen, basic VGA 640X480 mode.
Download the demo below, install over your existing version of POWERSTATION WINDOWS (Full or demo version). While we have fully tested it here, the only guarantee that you have are the results when you test it on you own system.
It is at the version 4 revision level. It will not have any new fix's or additions that have been added in latter Windows versions.
Drawing files generated with it can be loaded into any Windows version of POWERSTATION, however the other direction is not supported.
Install the demo by double clicking on the downloaded file (PS4DOS.EXE)
Run the demo by selecting "Program files", "MICROCIMM", "POWERSTATION DOS Demo"
